I've been in churches where people have been "slain in the spirit," and it's really creepy. Think about it. *Something* is happening to these people when they keel over and start shaking around on the ground. Yet, when you read the pages of the Bible you never see an example of the Holy Spirit completely incapacitating people like this. So, if *something* is causing people to behave this way, but we have reason to believe that it is *not* the Holy Spirit, then what else could it be? The only things I can think of are powerful psychological manipulation or else direct demonic influence, neither of which is all that healthy for the one on the receiving end of the Holy Face Rub.

I'm certain of one thing here; this kind of stuff isn't of God.
