The newest writer for LOST: Snoopy
I'm worried this guy might be right…
From a post on the 4815162342.com forum:
Remember the classic novel that Snoopy was always writing in the Peanuts comic strip? It went something like this:
It was dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out. A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly, a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury.
Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.
End of Part ISnoopy then types "Part II"
and looks up grinning with a thought balloon thinking "In part two, I tie all of this together.".Several weeks later Charles Schultz published a followup strip. Once again Snoopy was typing his novel.
Part II
A light snow was falling, and the little girl with the tattered shawl had not sold a violet all day.
At that moment, a young intern at City Hospital was making an important discovery. At the end of this strip Snoopy looks up with a frown and a thought balloon thinking "I may have written myself into a corner".
Many, many weeks later, the following strip appeared. Again Snoopy was writing his novel.
…… At that very moment, a young intern at City Hospital was making an important discovery. The mysterious patient in room 213 had finally awakened. She moaned softly.
Could it be that she was the sister of the boy in Kansas who loved the girl with the tattered shawl who was the daughter of the maid who had escaped from the pirates? The intern frowned.Snoopy looks up grinning with a thought balloon saying "See how neatly all of this fits together?"
Linus then walks up and asks Snoopy "What about the king?".
Snoopy throws the typewriter at Linus. End of classic Peanuts 3 strip trilogy.
THIS, my friends is seasons 1, 2 and 3 of Lost
