Boasting

Two proud daddy moments from the past week:

1. When Cody Glenn ripped off a big run against Iowa State, Pete jumped up, turned to me, and exclaimed, "Frow bones! Frow bones!" as he beat his forearms together in tradidional blackshirt fashion. Yes, I understand that technically you should only "throw the bones" when the Husker defense makes a good play, but c'mon, man. He's not even three years old! I grabbed a video of Pete on my phone, which you can view here. It's a 3g2 file, which QuickTime supports.

2. We went to Chuck E. Cheese's last night with the kids and Grandma Joan. I didn't even know that Pete knew who Chuck E. Cheese was until "he" came out to meet the kids. When the big mouse came near, Pete stood up and held out his right hand and said, "Hello Chuck… Hello, Mr. Cheese." Makes me think we're getting somewhere with our little boy.
