Great news for Lincoln

Headline: Seng won't run again

Having only been back in Lincoln since June of this year, I can't imagine how Lincolnites have put up with this mayor for three years! I hate to be so negative, but man is she awful. She turns down every business who wants to come to Lincoln, and then she scratches her head wondering why we have a budget shortfall. I'm no Dr. John Anderson, but I'm pretty sure that business development is a good way to increase tax revenue for a city, which would mean that turning down a Wal-mart and the associated development surrounding it would probably be a really bad idea, especially when you're struggling to keep your city in the black. Of course, what the political leadership in Lincoln lacks in vision and backbone, they more than make up for in their citywide N.I.M.B.Y. mentality.

What Lincoln needs is honest, responsible leadership, which will be my campaign slogan when I run for city council a few years from now. E-mail me if you want to contribute to my campaign fund!
